WHAT IS IN THIS BUNDLE: One ROVE R2-4K DUAL front and rear dash cam, one ROVE Ultimate 3-Lead USB Type-C Hardwire Kit, and one ROVE Ultimate CPL filter, ordered together. This is the complete R2-4K DUAL setup: 24hr parking monitoring from the hardwire kit and glare-controlled daytime footage from the filter, with nothing left to order one by one.
UPSCALED 4K FRONT + 1080P REAR RECORDING: The ROVE R2-4K DUAL records the road ahead and at the back of at the same time. The front camera captures at 2.5K (QHD) and intelligently upscales to 4K (2160P) for higher-detail playback, whilst the rear camera records at Full HD 1080P. This is upscaled 4K, not native 4K, engineered to show sharper on a regular basis detail than standard 1080P dash cams, so you’ll read license plates, signs, and surroundings in front and rear footage.
24HR PARKING MODE, ENABLED BY THE INCLUDED HARDWIRE KIT: Once the 3-lead kit is wired to your fuse box, the camera switches into parking mode by itself when the engine shuts off and returns to normal recording whilst you start the car. Select 1 fps time-lapse, motion detection, or collision detection. An event is saved to a locked folder with a voice alert on your next start.
CPL FILTER CUTS GLARE AND WINDSHIELD REFLECTION: The circular polarizer threads instantly onto the pre-threaded ring on the R2-4K DUAL front lens. It cancels the reflection of your dashboard on the inside of the windshield and reduces glare off wet roads and other vehicles, so daytime footage assists in keeping richer color saturation, stronger contrast, and finer detail on plates and road signs.
SONY STARVIS 2 SENSOR, 5.8GHz WiFi, GPS AND ROVE SUPPORT: The front camera uses a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 5MP image sensor with a wide F1.5 aperture (F1.8 rear) and HDR for clearer low-light footage. Dual-band 5.8GHz and 2.4GHz WiFi downloads clips to the ROVE App at up to 20MB/s, and built-in GPS stamps route, location, and live speed onto the video. The camera also includes a free 128GB ROVE PRO microSD card. All three items are covered by a 1-year ROVE warranty with US-based customer care.
