Kwikset 980 Single Cylinder Deadbolt featuring SmartKey® in Venetian Bronze

Product Description

Step up to designer styles and superior security with Kwikset Signature Series products. The 980 deadbolt series is both tough and attractive. This single cylinder deadbolt is operated by a key on the out of doors or a thumb turn on the inside. Latch has adjustable backset 2-3/8″ to 2-3/4″ to fit all standard door preparations and has two interchangeable faceplates; round corner and square corner. This Kwikset lock product also features SmartKey Security, which protects against advanced break-in techniques and lets you re-key your lock yourself in seconds. Kwikset SmartKey Security re-key technology is compatible with Kwikset (KW1) keyways. Smartkey security does not work with August smart locks or Schlage deadbolts. This keyed one sided traditional dead bolt is ANSI/BHMA grade 1 certified. The crisp, clean appearance of the satin nickel finish adds to the overall look to this smart lock and brings a modern feel. This deadbolt lock is perfect for your front door when paired with a handleset or for your side door when paired with a passage or keyed entry lever or door knob. Prevent brake-ins at the same time as maintaining style and security on entry and front doors. Use on garage side doors for added protection. Safe guest houses or backyard sheds against break-ins.
